Basic Job Functions:

+ Manage the development of Builders, Accounts and National Account opportunities.

+ Implement effective Builder recruitment and execute cancellations of non-performing Builders.

+ Responsible for Marketing Nucor Building Systems products in the assigned district.

+ Establish annual sales plans for the assigned territory to achieve goals set with the Regional Sales Manager.

+ Establish plans with each Builder to improve market presence inclusive of NBS penetration, quality of in-place products, and public image.

+ Promote attendance of Builders to all training opportunities, NBS functions, and utilization of NBS marketing programs.

+ Work with the Regional Sales Manager to develop personalized training for self-improvement.

+ Create Best Mark opportunities to improve product quality, service functions and enhance builder relations.

+ The candidate must be able to drive and travel extensively when required

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or GED.

+ Must live in or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory.

+ 35 years of experience in sales or construction (PEMB or related fields).

+ Ability to manage relationships and work independently in a professional sales environment.

+ Must be willing to travel extensively within the territory

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

+ 3 years of experience working directly with Builders or channel partners in the construction industry.

+ Prior experience in the metal building industry or graduate of the NBG DDSM program.

+ Familiarity with PEMB (pre-engineered metal buildings) is a strong plus but not required.
