    As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk** in **Hartford, CT** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact in a dynamic healthcare location. Your role involves monitoring entry points, greeting and assisting guests and staff, and responding to inquiries while maintaining a professional presence. You will help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming environment through outstanding communication and customer service.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide excellent customer service to visitors, staff, and/or patients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

    + Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting as required.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.

    + Support Allied Universal emergency response activities as appropriate for the location, including alerting emergency services or designated contacts when necessary.

    + Assist with visitor management processes, including providing directions, answering inquiries, and maintaining visitor logs.

    + Maintain a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity or behavior.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least one year of security-related experience is required.

    + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.

    + Customer service experience is preferred.

    + The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

    + CPR certification is preferred.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
