We're seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Manager to transform how we approach maintenance operations through intelligent technological solutions. You'll be at the forefront of integrating AI technologies into maintenance operations, solving complex challenges that directly impact global logistics and transportation. Your expertise will help develop intelligent systems that predict, prevent, and resolve maintenance issues with unprecedented precision and speed.
Key job responsibilities
Enter data into tracking systems and monitor aircraft maintenance disruptions worldwide, feeding machine learning models that drive predictive analytics and network optimization for stakeholder communications.
Track MEL, CDL, ETOPS, CAT III, and Autoland capabilities to ensure aircraft operational readiness for inclement weather, extended over-water operations, and station preparedness.
Leverage AI decision support systems to distinguish between relevant and irrelevant technical information, enabling data-driven decisions that minimize network impact.
Work with external providers and internal teams using predictive analytics and intelligent automation to craft scalable solutions and optimize maintenance execution.
Develop relationships with air carriers to gather data for machine learning analysis, acting as liaison between carrier maintenance and Amazon AIR to make recommendations to the NCC team.
Present AI-generated insights and data-driven recommendations in team meetings. Assist in identifying processes for intelligent automation.
Shift work required including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years airline, military, or equivalent experience with 14CFR 121 operations in line maintenance or maintenance control
- FAA Part 65 Airframe and Powerplant certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
