As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrols** in **Long Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare staff and visitors as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual circumstances.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter potential security-related incidents and to assist with access control in accordance with site procedures.

+ Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in a timely and accurate manner to appropriate personnel.

+ Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least two years of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A Guard Card or license is preferred.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
