    Sensory Technician – Part-Time | Bridgewater, NJ

    Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a **Sensory Technician** to support the Innovation Sensory Insights team of a leading food and beverage company in Bridgewater, NJ.

     

    This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about product testing and development. You’ll work in a collaborative lab environment supporting sensory and consumer research activities for a wide range of exciting projects.

     

    **Location** : Bridgewater, NJ

    **Schedule** : Part-Time | Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (6–8 hours per day)

    **Pay Rate:** $25-$27.32 per hour (based on experience, education, and location)

    **Employment Type** : Temporary | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities

    _Lab Operations & Setup_

    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sensory kitchen and lab areas.

    • Prepare supplies for daily tastings (e.g., food, beverages, utensils, ballots).

    • Ensure all equipment and materials are ready for scheduled evaluations.

    _Test Execution_

    • Assist with setup and execution of internal sensory panels and informal tastings.

    • Support product preparation and presentation for consumer testing.

    • Help coordinate logistics for on-site and external sensory studies.

    _Data & Documentation_

    • Record and organize panelist feedback and test results.

    • Collaborate with scientists and technicians to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

    _Compliance & Safety_

    • Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols.

    • Adhere to good laboratory practices (GLP) and internal quality standards.

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma required; experience or education in Food Science, Sensory Evaluation, or Lab Operations preferred.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized protocols.

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on lab environment.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

    • Experience with sensory software (EyeQuestion, Fizz, Compusense, Red Jade) a plus.

    Dress Code: Business casual (PPE provided as needed)

     

    Work Type: Onsite laboratory environment
