We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to support our intercom system across 180 entry/exit lanes on campus. This role is critical to ensuring seamless operations within our parking and transportation department. As a weekend specialist, you will join a team that ensures customers receive prompt and courteous assistance.
Responsibilities
+ Support the intercom line setup at 180 entry/exit lanes within campus garages.
+ Assist customers experiencing issues with the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution following standard operating procedures.
+ Communicate effectively and de-escalate situations with a diverse clientele, including students, faculty, patients, and visitors.
+ Consistently show up for weekend shifts, ensuring reliable support for our operations.
+ Handle calls primarily through phone interactions using the T2 Flex software system.
Essential Skills
+ A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a call center, hospitality, or parking environment.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
+ Strong communication, de-escalation, and problem-solving skills.
+ A high school diploma is required, while an Associate's degree is preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in handling intercom systems or similar technology.
+ Capacity to work independently and in a team during quieter weekend shifts.
Work Environment
This position requires onsite work within the parking garage office, where you will be part of a team that maintains smooth operations throughout the weekend. Shifts are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, with each shift lasting 8 hours including a 30-minute lunch break. This is a 16-hour per week role, and the work environment is dynamic and customer-focused.

This is a Contract position based out of Durham, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
