**Pay Range:** $38.07 - $56.73 per hour

Summary:
Under the general direction of the Asset Manager, the Senior IT Asset Procurement Analyst is responsible for assessing, tracking, and fulfilling requests for hardware, software, and other IT equipment. This includes engaging in requirements gathering, obtaining options and quotes, submitting orders, tracking status, completing updates and communications, and addressing any issues during the fulfillment process.
As a member of the Asset Management team, this individual ensures that policy, process, and standards are adhered to, as related to hardware and software standards and Rush financial guidelines. Communication and documentation are key to continual improvement in the intake of Rush assets.
The Senior IT Asset Procurement Analyst may also review the work of procurement analysts that are not yet at the senior level to ensure compliance, bring forth issues, and continually improve performance and process.

Required Job Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Purchasing required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/O365, especially Excel, in the Microsoft Windows OS.
• Accurate keyboarding and record-keeping skills required.
Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Degree with a focus in Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, or Business.
• Experience in IT procurement is preferred, especially as it pertains to large project procurement, being familiar with technology equipment, and understanding IT standards.
• Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
• Knowledge of ITSM practices and the ITIL framework is helpful
• Experience working for a hospital or Clinic that utilizes Epic
• Familiarity with Infor Lawson is helpful but not required

Responsibilities:
Purchases
• Screen requests for IT equipment and software to ensure purchases meet compliance, cyber requirements, and established standards.
• Work directly with customers to understand needs and requirements. Guide customers to the best solution.
• Maintain effective communication with customers about their orders.
• Answer customer questions about equipment, costs, software, etc.
• Work with the Cyber team to ensure all new software products go through the proper process for approvals.
• Maintain effective communication across the asset team about issues, delays, or problems.
• Manage approvals where applicable; manage approvals for printer program
• Accurately process equipment and software purchases.
• Obtain quotes when needed.
• Assist with the receiving, intake, and inventory of IT assets as needed for overall service delivery success.
• Actively partner with Capital Projects to manage large-scale purchases from needs assessment, timelines, tracking, delivery, and storage.
• Assist with printing contract, including oversight of incoming assets
• Remain knowledgeable of compliance and standards for IT equipment and software, including security requirements, financial stewardship, and standard models. Follow established processes, including the required approvals, for non-standard purchases.
Software Licenses
• Maintain software licensing allocations, billing, and costs
• Maintain Software subscriptions and renewals
• Obtain software quotes according to licensing needs.
• Validate, compare, and negotiate software costs if applicable, with the goal of reducing costs whenever possible.
Record Keeping
• Keep all requests up to date, including status updates for customers that establish timing expectations.
• Ensure correct accounts are charged for equipment and software licensing.
• Audit charges and chargebacks to confirm accuracy.
• Complete work in a timely manner that supports successful SLA attainment
• Assist vendors with questions and advise on Rush procedures.
• Maintain positive relationship between Rush and vendors. Works with both parties to resolve issues.
• Provide procurement data and reporting according to organizational needs.
• Maintain knowledge for software, both for D&IS and customer information, including licensing details, cost, and process.
Process Improvement
• Guide and educate customers on process and standards as it pertains to received requests
• Collaborate with vendors to improve quality, delivery times, and costs.
• Review D&IS purchases on a regular basis to ensure compliance and accuracy across all procurement activities for the team.
• Escalate appropriate issues to the Asset Supervisor and Manager.
• Keeps management informed of current trends, significant issues, or delays to orders.
• Assist with the design and maintenance of Catalog Requests as they pertain to IT equipment and software purchases.
• Assist the asset team with process refinement, inventory activities, or other duties as assigned.
