Job Summary and Responsibilities

+ Assisting patients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
+ Monitoring and documenting patient behavior, vital signs, and progress.
+ Maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
+ Providing emotional support and encouragement to patients.
+ Collaborating effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
This position is represented by SEIU UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement
Job Requirements
+ High School Graduate or equivalent required.
+ At least one (1) year of experience as a California Nursing Assistant required.
+ Minimum of one (1) year mental health worker experience working with psychiatric patients, either in an inpatient or residential setting required.
+ California Nursing Assistant certification required.
+ Current AHA BLS card required.
+ LA City Fire Safety card required within 90 days of hire required.
Preferred:
+ Acute care facility experience preferred.

Pay Range
$24.00 - $28.09 /hour
