We are seeking a Civil Design Reviewer to join our team in Davie, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of local projects, from small-scale site developments to large infrastructure programs.
As a key member of our civil design team, you will be responsible for reviewing and supporting design efforts related to:
* Paving, grading, and site layout
* Drainage systems (hydrology and hydraulics)
* Water and sewer utilities
* Stormwater modeling and erosion control
* Construction document review and QA/QC
You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design, from concept to construction, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Review civil design plans and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
* Provide technical guidance and quality assurance for design deliverables
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve design issues
* Evaluate hydrologic and hydraulic models and provide feedback
* Support permitting and regulatory documentation efforts
* Assist in the development and improvement of design review processes
* Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development
* Participate in project meetings and provide input on design strategies
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* 5-10 years of professional experience in civil site design and review
* Strong understanding of local and international design standards
* Experience with small, medium, and large-scale projects
* Proficient in: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Excel, ICPR, XPSWMM, WaterCAD, or SewerCAD
* Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and permitting processes
* Ability to perform and review hydraulic and hydrologic modeling
* Excellent organizational and communication skills
