What you’ll do
* Lead multidisciplinary design and construction teams across airside and landside projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, terminals, and support facilities.
* Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies including FAA, DOTs, utilities, and airport authorities.
* Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality from concept through close-out.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships through proactive communication and strategic guidance.
* Oversee contract documentation including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and regulatory submissions.
* Facilitate stakeholder engagement, public involvement, and regulatory negotiations.
* Champion innovation, sustainability, and safety throughout all phases of project delivery.
* Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college
* Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
* 5+ years of experience leading aviation design and/or construction projects exceeding $5M.
* Proven success managing complex infrastructure projects with public agencies.
* Strong understanding of FAA Advisory Circulars and airport planning/design standards.
* Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
* Prior work on Florida-based airport projects.
* Experience with permitting and regulatory processes in Florida.
