Suvi is looking for a Geospatial Mapping Specialist capable of maintaining Geospatial map layers which includes the monthly updates to the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) polygons based off the current organization table. The person filling this position should be well-versed in monthly updates to the within agents’ organizational structure, maintaining map layers and directing discussions on new reports and requirements, and developing and maintaining complete ESRI map services that include several map layers and specific polygon requirements that interact with WebFOCUS designed reports with the ability to launch a map from a WebFOCUS User Interface. The ability to pass parameters from report to map and develop and maintain drill down options from map to report is key. A basic understanding of ServiceNow and WebFOCUS v8 system are required.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze business applications and design specifications with a focus on geospatial data integration and visualization.
+ Develop and maintain software that supports GIS workflows, map services, and spatial data processing.
+ Create logic flow charts and diagrams for geospatial data pipelines and services.
+ Support operations and maintenance of geospatial systems, including patching, performance tuning, and data updates.
+ Integrate geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS, ArcPro, WebFOCUS) into enterprise platforms.
+ Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
+ Implement secure coding practices and support DevSecOps pipelines for geospatial applications.
+ Provide Tier 2/3 support for deployed geospatial solutions.
+ Participate in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation (typically one week every four weeks).
+ Prepare documentation, user guides, and training materials for geospatial tools.
Qualifications
+ Active Top Secret clearance.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or equivalent.
+ At least five (5) years of general programming experience, including three (3) years in geospatial development or GIS integration.
+ At least one of the following certifications:
+ CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH.
Desired Qualification:
+ Experience with ESRI tools, Oracle Spatial, and geocoding workflows.
+ Familiarity with map services, spatial databases, and data visualization.
+ Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile development, and geospatial data security.
+ Experience integrating GIS with BI platforms (e.g., WebFOCUS, Tableau).
