    Description

    Wheeler Machinery is looking for a Rental Sales Rep, who is highly motivated with experience selling and renting equipment to commercial, residential, and industrial trades. A salesperson for Wheeler Machinery is actively engaged with our customers, providing them with world-class customer service and the highest quality products in the marketplace. The salesperson is also responsible for growing and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned account list and territory to achieve sales volume, market share, and profitability targets.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and value as partners in their business.

    + Conduct high-level consultative meetings to demonstrate the value behind Wheeler Machinery’s product offerings versus the competition.

    + Maintain professional internal and external relationships that exceed company values.

    + Learn and implement a complete understanding of the products and services we provide to be a consultative partner in our customers’ business.

    + Lead and execute all aspects of the sales process while calling upon other company resources and departments to assist when needed.

    + Build trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems effectively, and demonstrate high integrity.

    + Document and track sales calls and data entry through CRM tools.

    + Perform all other duties assigned.

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 years of industry-related experience.

    + Knowledge of and willingness to learn Wheeler Machinery product offerings, construction industry practices, and other competencies necessary for consulting with customers on their needs.

    + Strong presentation, organizational, and time management skills.

    + Self-starter, motivated, and results-driven.

    + Dedication to providing the highest level of customer service.

    + Ability to handle and resolve objections and problems amicably.

    + General computing skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as the ability to utilize CRM for managing customer visits, generating quotes, and processing data.

    + Experience in successfully mentoring and leading others toward accomplishing a common goal.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
