The Wind
Technician performs planned and unplanned maintenance including troubleshooting
and replacement of parts if necessary, in a safe and professional manner on
Wind Turbines. Detailed records and parts used must be completed for all work
performed. Technicians report to site management and communicate needs and or
safety issues that arise. Perform first class work on preventive maintenances
to be completed on time and right the first time.
How You’ll Make anImpact
+ Responsible for the service and maintenance of Siemens Gamesa windturbines at our Lower Snake River site in Pomeroy, WA.
+ Provide exceptional service to our customers, effectively analyzingand responding to challenging and hazardous situations.
+ The working environment involves working inside the wind turbineenclosure at an elevated height of approximately 300 feet.
+ Extensive training and testing will be provided, covering bothsafety protocols and technical job requirements.
+ Physical requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:climbing ladders (minimum of 267 steps), ascending stairs, standing forextended periods, walking, lifting, bending, twisting, working aboveshoulder height, pushing, pulling, and exposure to vibration, chemicals,confined spaces, and extreme weather conditions.
+ Capable of efficiently taking on additional roles andresponsibilities at an operating wind farm.
