Qualifications & Experience

•** **What You’ll Do

As a **Retail Shift Lead** , you’ll help lead our retail crew to deliver magical experiences from the first “hello” to the final “souvenir splash.” Your role keeps the energy high, the smiles wide, and the operations swimming along smoothly! 🦑✨

Your key responsibilities include:

•️ Lead daily retail operations, ensuring the shop floor looks amazing and runs efficiently.

• Serve as **Supervisor on Duty** , supporting all departments — including Admissions, Food & Beverage, and Retail — when needed.

• Motivate, coach, and inspire team members to be **“guest obsessed”** and provide _jaw-some_ service.

• Assist in managing guest flow and queues to create a fun, safe, and stress-free experience.

• Help with stocking, inventory control, and maintaining visual standards that make our retail space pop.

• Support training for new team members — helping them shine brighter than a bioluminescent jellyfish!

• Step in to handle guest questions or concerns with empathy and confidence.

• Keep team morale high with positivity, teamwork, and a splash of fun!

•** **Who We’re Looking For

We’re searching for a **natural leader** who thrives in fast-paced, guest-facing environments and loves making every interaction magical!

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have at least 6 months of experience in retail, hospitality, or attractions.

• Enjoy mentoring and motivating others — you’re the type who leads by example.

• Have awesome communication and people skills.

• Stay calm under pressure and handle challenges with a smile.

• Are detail-oriented and passionate about creating a fun, safe, and engaging space for guests of all ages.

• Are flexible and excited to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts — because the fun never stops under the sea!
