What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will do

+ Greet patients and explain procedures.

+ Answer questions and instruct patient during the procedures.

+ Prepare proper sterile tray and contrast media for procedures.

+ Perform radiologic examinations on patients with proper positioning and technique.

+ Assist physicians during specialized procedures.

+ Evaluate Images within PACS and close study appropriately for prompt reading.

+ Complete Health Streams by assigned due date.

+ Obtain and maintain competency in accessing and documenting patient information in the automated patient medical record.

+ Charge entry and selection of correct charges for services provided. Assures that the charges entered are consistent with services provided and supported by appropriate documentation.

+ Utilizes Cerner (Powerchart and RadNet) computer programs and reviews and print results from PowerChart.

What the Radiologic Technologist, Registry eligible will need:

+ Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
