    Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Security Design Review - Architect - Expert Level to join their team. As a Security Design Review - Architect - Expert Level, you will be part of the Security Architecture Department supporting the Security Strategy and Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

    **Location:** Westlake, Texas

     

    Pay Range: Best in the Segment on W2

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Lead secure design reviews and oversee the implementation of security controls across on-premises and cloud environments.

    + Collaborate with domain architects and product managers to define security requirements and deployment patterns.

    + Assess and sign-off on projects, ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and industry best practices.

    + Provide guidance on security architecture, including IAM, Data Protection, Application Security, and Network Security.

    + Partner with engineering teams to develop practical security solutions that support business growth and protect data integrity, availability, and confidentiality.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 10+ years of experience designing, building, and managing security infrastructure or solutions.

    + Strong knowledge of multiple security domains, including customer authentication processes and security controls.

    + Experience with security architecture reviews, security controls, and reference architectures.

    + Proficiency in frameworks such as NIST 800-53, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27000 series, and COBIT.

    + Relevant certifications like CISSP or CSSLP are preferred.
