As a **Airport** **Security Professional - Curbside Patrol** in **Lihue, HI** , you will safeguard the airport, staff, and it's facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal serving a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Afternoon/Morning

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour** **with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any unusual observations.

+ Monitor access points and observe activities to help to deter potential security-related incidents in accordance with established protocols.

+ Document and report any observed incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

+ Communicate and coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when appropriate during incidents or emergencies.

+ Perform additional security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Experience with computers or tablets is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid training is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
