As a **Security Officer - Logistics Badge Control** in **Dayton, NJ** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas within a bustling logistics and distribution location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents, while your attention to detail and strong communication skills foster a welcoming environment for everyone on-site. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and assist with access control procedures, all while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

+ Monitor security-related systems and respond to alarms or other indications of unauthorized access.

+ Provide customer service by assisting staff, visitors, and delivery personnel with directions and information as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

+ Assist with emergency response activities according to established protocols, including supporting evacuation or lockdown procedures if necessary.

+ Communicate security-related information to supervisors and site management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
