    As a **Security Officer - Front Desk Armed Driver** in **Lexington Park, MD** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a pivotal role in helping to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a professional presence and offering outstanding customer service to all visitors, employees, and guests. This is an armed and driving post, requiring you to meet state and company requirements for both. You will be the first point of contact, assisting with access control and visitor management, while upholding Allied Universal's values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first culture.     What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.

    + Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, and vendors, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

    + Communicate professionally with staff, clients, and guests to address inquiries or concerns and to provide assistance as needed.

    + Observe and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related incidents to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.

    + Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk, including following evacuation or other emergency procedures as directed by site-specific policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

    + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
