    A Certified Medical Assistant role is available through Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports physicians and clinical staff by performing both administrative and clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care delivery. The CMA serves as a vital link between patients and providers, assisting with examinations, procedures, documentation, and communication to promote a high standard of patient-centered care.

    **Contract type:** Minimum 6-months + temp/contract (possible extension)

    **Work hours:** Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

    **Location:** Avon, IN

    **Pay rate:** $21.00-24.00/hr. (21.00/hr.) - depending on your level of experience

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and updating information in electronic health records (EHR).

    • Assist providers during patient examinations, minor procedures, and diagnostic testing.

    • Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by licensed providers.

    • Collect and process laboratory specimens; perform basic lab tests as authorized.

    • Maintain examination rooms, instruments, and supplies in a clean, organized, and functional state.

    • Schedule patient appointments, manage referrals, and coordinate follow-up care.

    • Educate patients on prescribed treatments, medications, and preventive health practices.

    • Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, verifying insurance, and processing billing information.

    Qualifications:

    • **Certification:** Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited organization (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent).

    • **Education:** High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistant training program.

    • **Skills:** Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in EHR systems and basic computer applications.

    • **Experience:** 1–2 years of medical office or clinical experience preferred.

    • **Additional Requirements:** Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

    **Pay Details:** $21.00 per hour
