• Shipping & Receiving Clerk

    Adecco is hiring a **Shipping & Receiving Clerk** for a local manufacturing client in Fairport! In this role, you’ll handle the movement of materials, prepare and process outgoing shipments, receive incoming goods, and maintain accurate inventory records. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented and organized who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment!

     

    **Pay:** $20.00/hour

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    **Type:** Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire

    Responsibilities

    + Pick up materials from production areas and prepare for shipment.

    + Package, label, and prepare domestic/export shipments (skids, crates, cartons).

    + Create shipping documents (bills of lading, carrier paperwork, export forms).

    + Schedule pickups with carriers and verify shipment accuracy.

    + Receive incoming shipments, check contents, and deliver to proper departments.

    + Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment.

    + Maintain data in inventory control systems and keep records organized.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    + Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Windows programs.

    + Experience with **UPS WorldShip** or **FedEx Shipping Software** preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    **Pay Details:** $20.00 per hour
