Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Coordinator to support a genomics study involving patients receiving inpatient cardiology treatments. This role plays a critical part in advancing research by recruiting participants and ensuring smooth study operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Participant Recruitment: Identify and recruit 1–2 participants per week for the study.
+ Chart Review & Eligibility: Conduct thorough chart reviews in Epic to determine patient eligibility.
+ Collaboration with Care Teams: Communicate with medical teams via Epic messaging to understand discharge plans and obtain approval to approach patients.
+ Patient Engagement: Meet patients face-to-face, explain the study, gauge interest, and obtain informed consent.
+ Study Procedures: Collect vitals, perform blood draws, and complete enrollment visits (approximately 1 hour).
+ Randomization: Ensure participants are randomized within 48 hours of discharge to determine HEPA air cleaner utilization.
Workload Snapshot
+ Screen approximately 200 patients per month.
+ Manage 5–10 new screens daily using Epic-generated lists.

This is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
