    Job Title: QC Technician

    Job Description

    The Quality Test Technician is responsible for supporting Rx Quality functional release testing. This includes ensuring the timely release of products, coordinating sample delivery and shipment between sites, and supporting validation activities to qualify new or existing product lines according to defined requirements and customer expectations. The role is based at the Congers, NY facility.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform routine functional testing of all Rx & CHC products by following appropriate quality documentation.

    + Assist in investigations related to Lab out of specification (OOS) results and nonconformities.

    + Support production investigations.

    + Handle lab equipment calibration and maintenance.

    + Use high magnification microscopes and measurement tools.

    + Participate in preparing and reviewing work instructions and other documentation.

    + Assist with test and measurement method transfers.

    + Support validation activities.

    + Track test results and lab reagents/supplies.

    + Support audits and department activities to comply with ISO standards.

    + Maintain strong communications with the Quality Control, QA, and RTC departments to help resolve quality issues.

    + Support site, customer quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Essential Skills

    + Quality control and inspection

    + Product testing

    + Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field

    + 1 to 2 years of quality lab experience

    + Experience with cGMP guidelines

    + Ability to follow complicated procedures and work instructions

    + Strong computer skills

    + Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Spray pattern testing experience

    + Knowledge of quality standards

    + Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or plastic molding industries

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a GMP manufacturing and laboratory setting in Congers, NY. The technician will be required to enter a cleanroom. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Congers, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
