Job Title: Mechanical Engineer III

Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding Mechanical Engineer III who combines exceptional technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing both 3D and 2D mechanical designs and schematic creations related to flight and test wire harnesses. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering suitable for both prototype and production-level designs.

Responsibilities

+ Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs and schematics for flight and test wire harnesses.

+ Conduct related analysis to support design development.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and functionality.

+ Apply mechanical engineering principles to both prototype and production-level projects.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.

+ Proficiency in ECAD software for 3D modeling, 2D drafting, and schematic creation.

+ Experience in designing wire harnesses for test and flight aerospace systems.

+ Strong communication and writing skills.

+ Familiarity with engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Siemens Teamcenter for PLM.

+ Proficiency in Siemens NX and Capital for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $53.00/hr.
