Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
The role involves daily communication and coordination with teams, other supervisors, and departments. You will direct work assignments in accordance with the production schedule, plan and organize activities of the production/assembly line to meet production deadlines. Monitoring housekeeping and correcting safety issues are vital. Ensuring compliance to environmental, productivity, quality, and health & safety standards is essential. You will identify and implement continuous improvement projects, prepare and adhere to departmental policies and procedures, and apply disciplinary action as needed. Additionally, you will prepare and maintain production reports and records, taking corrective action when necessary, coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs, conduct inventory analysis, and order necessary equipment or materials for assembly or production.
Responsibilities
+ Communicate and coordinate daily with teams, supervisors, and departments.
+ Direct work assignments according to the production schedule.
+ Plan and organize production/assembly line activities to meet deadlines.
+ Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental, productivity, quality, and safety standards.
+ Identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
+ Prepare and adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
+ Apply disciplinary action as needed.
+ Prepare and maintain production reports and records, taking corrective actions when necessary.
+ Coordinate departmental maintenance and engineering needs.
+ Conduct inventory analysis.
+ Order and purchase necessary equipment or materials for production.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production supervision or coordination.
+ Ability to implement Lean principles and 5S for efficiency and waste reduction.
+ Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies for quality improvement.
+ Strong skills in production management, safety, and process improvement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical engineering degree is desired.
+ 3-5 years experience in production supervision.

The work environment is fast-paced and focused on the automotive industry. Employees are expected to work on-site and engage in the continuous improvement of processes using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, AL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
