    Job Title: General Labor - 1st Shift

     

    Pay: $20/hour

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team where you will engage in various tasks that are crucial to our operations. As part of the team, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing display windows for shipment and engaging in assembly tasks using tools such as screw guns and cordless drills. Attention to detail is essential as the products must meet quality standards before delivery.

    Responsibilities

    + Clean display windows and prepare them for shipment using Windex.

    + Assemble various window units for display using screw guns and bolting techniques.

    + Perform minor tasks using a tape measure and cordless drills for precise assembly.

    + Conduct minor painting and touch-up tasks to ensure displays are ready for shipment.

    + Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong attention to detail and quality-driven mindset.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with team lifts for anything over.

    + Knowledge of various tools such as cordless drills, saws, nail guns, and wrenches.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of shop experience, preferably in a wood-type shop, is a plus.

    + Comfortable working in a shop environment.

    + Familiarity with painting, sanding, hand tools, and carpentry.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a structured job shop setting with opportunities to work independently or as part of a team of 7-8. Standard hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with potential for extended hours until 4:30 pm. Dress code includes t-shirts, jeans, and work boots/leather boots, with PPE provided on the first day. Candidates must be willing to work overtime when required.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Afton, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
