Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment. You will read and interpret detailed tabulated drawings and job packets, perform visual inspections and functional testing to ensure product quality, label and package finished products according to specifications, and maintain accurate documentation by verifying bill of materials (BOMs).
Responsibilities
+ Assemble electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment.
+ Read and interpret detailed tabulated drawings and job packets.
+ Perform visual inspections and functional testing to ensure product quality.
+ Label and package finished products according to specifications.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and verify bill of materials (BOMs).
+ Understand daily outputs with a goal of performing at or above average minutes per piece of the team.
+ Follow the organization's Quality Management System and keep the work area organized according to 5S work standards.
+ Participate in sustainability efforts, including waste reduction and recycling.
+ Work productively and cooperatively in a team environment, maintaining strong communication with the supervisor and team members.
+ Be proficient in all areas within your responsibility and promote changes for improvement.
+ Accurately record production order confirmations, including yield, labor, reworks, and final confirmations.
+ Keep the supervisor informed of any needed changes or reasons for missing standards.
+ Participate in additional reporting methods to assist in the production process.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and soldering equipment.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ At least 1 year of electrical assembly experience.
+ Experience in packaging and assembling orders.
+ Capability to use small parts and hand tools for soldering.
+ Proficiency in production, electronic assembly, mechanical, and mechanical assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in electronic or electrical assembly is preferred.
+ Ability to read technical drawings and follow written instructions.
+ Familiarity with IPC standards and soldering techniques.
+ Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.

Work Environment
The work environment is very clean and well-lit, resembling a cleanroom environment as we work with medical devices. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility in start and end times. Work is conducted in a friendly atmosphere where headphones are allowed at workstations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orchard Park, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
