    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    The general production worker will work within the custom department, focusing on the production of custom cabinets and countertops.

    Responsibilities

    + Utilize basic hand tools, tape measure, air tools, and small hand tools in daily tasks.

    + Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop skills in cabinetry production.

    + Apply mechanical aptitude in the assembly and finishing of custom cabinets and countertops.

    + Perform general labor tasks including inspection, sanding, polishing, and assembly of plastic cabinets.

    + Ensure quality and accuracy in all aspects of production.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong attention to detail.

    + Proficiency in basic math functions.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Ability to accurately read a tape measure.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in cabinet assembly.

    + Background in construction or woodworking.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment involves a custom cabinetry shop setting, which includes working with wood and plastic materials, resulting in wood debris and a strong plastic odor. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 6 am to 2:30 pm, with flexibility required for longer hours and some Saturdays. The role demands working in conditions where a white chalk-like substance from the plastic material may be present on hands and clothing.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $19.00/hr.
