    Job Title: CMM Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking multiple skilled CMM Technicians to join an Aerospace contractor located in Huntsville, AL. This is a full-time employment opportunity for those interested in working in a dynamic and technologically advanced environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) with proficiency in GD&T.

    + Perform first article inspections and utilize laser trackers for precision measurement.

    + Execute or witness test procedures and generate comprehensive test reports.

    + Interpret and analyze drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications to prepare inspection reports.

    + Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, Certificates of Conformance, and Non-Conformance Reports.

    + Maintain compliance with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant experience.

    + Proficiency with standard measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators.

    + 4 or more years of experience with Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, and Leica Laser Trackers.

    + Fluency in GD&T.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

    + US Citizenship and eligibility for a Secret Clearance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Spatial Analyzer or similar PCMM software is preferred.

    + Experience in the inspection of complex aerospace hardware and non-conforming materials.

    + Familiarity with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems and AS5553 counterfeit prevention.

    + Capacity to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $43.50/hr.
