    Job Title: Finisher - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent Finisher to prepare products according to customer specifications. This role involves using hand grinders to sand and grind excess metal, assisting machine operators during downtime, and using various hand and power tools. You will inspect products, perform quality assurance checks, and maintain cleanliness in the work area. The job requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare products for customers, finishing to specified requirements.

    + Use hand grinders for sanding and grinding excess metal.

    + Assist machine operators during downtime.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

    + Conduct product inspections and perform quality assurance.

    + Maintain cleanliness in the work area.

    Essential Skills

    + General production and manufacturing skills.

    + Experience with finishing, assembly, and grinding.

    + Proficiency in machine operation and use of power tools.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints and perform mechanical assembly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3 months of prior production/manufacturing experience preferred.

    + Experience with grinders and hand tools.

    + Comfortable with using a hammer to straighten parts.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment can be warm in the summer. Employees must wear metatarsal boots and safety glasses, adhering to a casual dress code that prohibits shorts or cutoff sleeves.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Le Sueur, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.25/hr.
