Food Manufacturing Company Urgently Looking for a Shipping Receiving Clerk in Lodi, NJ

**Shift:** 6am-3pm OR 7am-4pm

**Location:** Lodi, NJ

**Pay:** $21/hour ; Overtime: $31.50/hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shipping & Receiving clerk to join our team in a small food manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to quickly address issues, and effective collaboration with team members.

Responsibilities

+ Operate forklifts safely and efficiently in a food manufacturing setting.

+ Ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environment, regulations and policies.

+ Prepare items to be shipped and label products

+ Maintaining Shipping Records, and ensured received food products are clean sterile, and not expired.

+ Utilizing company’s Warehouse Management systems for shipping and inventory tracking

+ Operating sit-down forklift and moving and organizing inventory throughout warehouse

+ Accurately count and record warehouse inventory.

+ Ensure all inventory counts are complete and accurate.

+ Abide by GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) protocols and OSHA Safety Guidelines..

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and food manufacturing.

+ Proficiency in operating forklifts.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

+ Ability to act quickly and effectively in response to problems.

+ Excellent team working skills and capability to work independently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lodi, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.90 - $21.90/hr.
