    Job Title: Electronics Technician

    Job Description

    As an Electronics Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair electronic components and systems including PLCs, sensors, and control panels. You will perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on malfunctioning equipment to identify root causes and ensure optimal performance through calibration and testing of electronic instruments and control devices. Reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals will be part of your daily tasks. Collaboration with engineering and production teams is crucial to support equipment upgrades and process improvements, while maintaining accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance activities. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies and support ISO and quality initiatives as required.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair electronic components and systems including PLCs, sensors, and control panels.

    + Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on malfunctioning equipment to identify root causes.

    + Calibrate and test electronic instruments and control devices to ensure optimal performance.

    + Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades and process improvements.

    + Maintain accurate records of repairs, calibrations, and preventive maintenance activities.

    + Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

    + Support ISO and quality initiatives as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in electronics troubleshooting and schematic design.

    + Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing electronics role preferred.

    + Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering equipment.

    + Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation systems is a plus.

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Our facility is a leading manufacturer of high-performance industrial components, located in Newell, WV. We pride ourselves on innovation, quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Newell, WV.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $47840.00/yr.
