Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team and contribute to the production of medical device parts by operating industrial sewing machines. Comprehensive training will be provided, starting with a week-long class and followed by mentorship on the production floor.

Responsibilities

+ Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture medical device parts.

+ Set up sewing machine with correct thread.

+ Increase production count to expected output level within 13 weeks.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

+ Sit for extended periods while operating sewing machines.

+ Request assistance or call maintenance if issues arise with the sewing machine.

+ Ensure products meet quality standards.

Work Environment

Work in a Contract Manufacturing Medical Device Company experiencing rapid growth, with 800 employees at the St. Charles location. The production floor features 75% industrial sewing machines in a clean GMP environment. Hair and beard nets are required. Though not climate-controlled, fans are provided to maintain comfort. The workforce is diverse, speaking over 5-6 languages. Shifts include: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary extended hours available, and 2nd shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, also with voluntary extended hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Charles, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
