Job Title: Lapping Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the semiconductor industry. The role involves operating wafer dicing and wafer lapping equipment with high precision and detail work on components with extremely tight tolerances. You will also operate automatic wire bonding equipment, perform micro assembly onto chips, and conduct quality control verification and documentation. Additionally, you will utilize microscopes and other testing, measuring, and inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Operate wafer dicing and wafer lapping equipment with precision.

+ Perform micro assembly onto chips using automatic wire bonding equipment.

+ Conduct quality control verification and documentation.

+ Utilize microscopes and other testing, measuring, and inspection equipment.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ year of experience in machining high precision, high critical, and tight tolerance components.

+ Experience in quality verification and documentation.

+ Proficiency in using microscopes and other measurement tools.

+ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

+ Must be a US Citizen to meet ITAR requirements.

+ High level of detail and experience with precision materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in wafer dicing or lapping is ideal.

+ Soldering experience is a plus.

+ Wire bonding experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment

Experience a clean and quiet work environment with a machine shop area, cleanroom, lab area, and general assembly area. The environment fosters a flexible team mentality where taking initiative is encouraged. Shift hours for the assembly and cleanroom areas are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime available but not mandatory. Flexible hours can be arranged, with a preference for consistent scheduling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White Bear Lake, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
