Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to install sheet metal using spiral, stainless steel, ductboard, and double wall sheet metal. The role involves working with offsets, 90s, and VAV boxes. Applicants must have their own tools and personal protective equipment and possess commercial experience working on hospitals, schools, high rises, and office buildings. We are looking for one lead man and one mechanic.

Responsibilities

+ Install sheet metal using spiral, stainless steel, ductboard, and double wall sheet metal.

+ Work with offsets, 90s, and VAV boxes.

+ Ensure proper installation and functionality of duct work.

+ Maintain safety standards and adhere to construction protocols.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members on site.

Essential Skills

+ Sheet metal installation experience.

+ HVAC knowledge.

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with commercial sheet metal.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Reliable transportation.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role involves working in various commercial settings, requiring adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plant City, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
