We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to support both clinical and administrative functions. This role is open to Medical Assistants, Nursing Assistants, and Patient Care Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Call pre-operative patients to collect health history and confirm eligibility for outpatient surgery.

+ Notify RN of any changes in patient status or responses.

+ Perform data entry, file organization, and upload medical records promptly.

+ Answer phones and assist with paperwork.

+ Act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff, ensuring clear communication.

+ Maintain positive relationships with medical staff and office personnel.

+ Address medical concerns with the Medical Director as needed.

+ Support business office and clinical functions as assigned.

+ Maintain competencies required for MA role within the assigned area.

+ Uphold patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with facility policies and regulations.

+ Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ BLS/BCLS within 90 days or current certification.

+ 1 year experience in MA/NA/PCT role.

+ Certified MA preferred.

+ Knowledge of medical terminology and strong communication skill s.
