Description
SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Retail Partnership Coordinator will work with the Retail Programs Manager and collaborate with Agency Services to manage the Retail Partnership Program identifying and developing strategic partnerships with agency partners and donors.This is a grant funded position.
RESPONSBILITIES:
+ Manage enabled partnerships with existing agency partners and strengthen engagement to increase participation.
+ Monitor industry trends and apply findings to plans and strategies.
+ Educate agencies about the Retail Partnership Program and the value and the benefits associated with participating.
+ Communicate and educate agency partners and volunteers regarding food safety, quality and transportation to ensure we receive the most wholesome food for our clients.
+ Identify, cultivate, and secure new agency partners to support growth in the Retail Partnership Program year over year.
+ Accompany Agency Services team to site visits to agency partners and conduct their own site visits as needed.
+ Visit donor stores in line with the Meaningful Store Visit Calculator
+ Recruit new donors, focusing on regulated businesses under the NYS Food Scraps Law
+ Increase FeedMore WNY’s visibility in the field to better serve our network partners and donors.
+ Manage the Retail Partnership Driver including their community collection schedule, accuracy of truck logs, training, development and other oversight responsibilities
+ Assist with any and all mission work as needed and requested with some or no prior notice including, but not limited to: serving as a truck spotter, helping with Farm Market/Community Garden/Freight Farms/on and off-site food distributions, preparation of meals and serving home-delivered meals
+ Other duties as assigned or needed.
Requirements
+ Demonstrated ability to build professional networks and sustain relationships
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Ability to work at a fast pace with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
+ Experience with or knowledge of the NYS Food Scraps Law and the donation landscape a plus
+ Ability to lift up to 35lbs
Salary Description
$24.00/hr. *Bi-Weekly Pay Periods
