As a **Process Engineer I** here at **Solstice Advanced Materials** , you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity related to non-ferrous metal forming and machining operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities, develop solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in troubleshooting, implementing advanced technologies, and analyzing data leads to increased efficiency, cost savings, and adherence to regulations and specifications.
You will report directly to our Process Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Spokane Valley, WA location.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate process design into manufacturing operations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct analysis and simulations to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.
• Process control (SPC/SQC) and statistical analysis.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering is preferred
+ Proficient in part design using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD software
+ 0-1 years of experience in CNC based machining operations or manufacturing experience
+ Experience with low volume, high mix production flows
+ Proven track record of successful leadership and project management skills with the ability to motivate a team
+ Strong knowledge of MRP systems (SAP) and Six Sigma principles
+ Effective communication and interpersonal skills
WE VALUE
+ Proficiency in solid modeling and part drawings
+ Knowledge of CNC machining and machine programming experience is desired
+ Non-Ferrous metals manufacturing experience is a plus
+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills using the Six Sigma methodologies.
+ Green belt certification a plus or able to gain certification within 6 months of hire
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

COMPENSATION
The annual base salary range for this position is $78k-$82k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Solstice considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
