Job Description:

Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am - 6:00pm

General Responsibilities: _May include some or all of the following._

+ Ship daily sales orders through proficient use of online and other computer application software.

+ Communicate daily with customer service, conversion department, and external freight forwarders on status and scheduling of sales orders ready to ship.

+ Receive daily purchase orders through proficient use of accounting software.

+ Communicate and notify appropriate ITW Rippey staff when materials (business or personal) arrive for them.

+ Operate and maintain forklift, wave, drum lift, and motorized pallet jack. Schedule maintenance and keep log updated.

+ Maintain on-site inventory spreadsheet to reflect movements.

+ Locate and pull raw inventory using inventory lists provided by conversion supervisor.

+ Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times. Work with area supervisors/management to keep raw materials organized in appropriate storage locations.

+ Put all chemical and hazardous materials in appropriate storage locations immediately after arrival using required protective equipment (PPE) and drum lifter/forklift.

+ Assist conversion department on labeling, binning, and/or packaging finished good product.

+ Assist area supervisor(s) by monitoring inventory levels of all materials on and off site - boxes, tape, bags, shrink wrap etc. Notify area supervisor(s) when materials are low and need to be re-ordered.

+ Assist on inventory cycle counts.

+ Perform, in a timely manner, all tasks and objectives, as assigned by Operations Manager relevant to area of responsibility.

+ Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: _To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily._

+ High school graduate or general education degree (GED).

+ 2+ years recent or comparable experience working in a warehouse environment.

+ Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Awareness training with hazardous materials.

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

+ Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

+ Strong organizational skills.

+ Ability to work independently.

+ Forklift certification.

Work Conditions: _Work conditions described here represent those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job._

+ Working within manufacturing environment.

+ Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

+ Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), consisting of goggles, gloves, face shield, and respirator, as needed.

+ Hazardous chemicals handling.

+ Operation of various manufacturing machinery.

+ Computer use.

+ Various analytical equipment and tools.

Compensation Information:

$23.80 - $32.30 hourly
