NOTICE OF OPENING

CUSTODIAN (NIGHT, NON-LICENSED)

The Night Custodian will assist the Maintenance Operations Coordinator in maintaining the physical school plant and grounds in a condition of operating excellence in order to provide quality education and a safe environment for all staff and students.

POSITION:

Custodian, (Non Licensed) Night

LOCATION:

Multiple Locations

RATE OF PAY:

$22.29/hr* + $0.60 (night differential)

* Custodians have the opportunity to receive additional 7% increase in pay if they currently have, or have the ability to obtain, any of the following combinations of licensures:

+ Boiler's license + School Bus Driver's Endorsement

+ Boiler's License + Pesticide License

+ Boiler's License + Certified Pool Operators License

Tuition reimbursement may be available for those wishing to study for a license.

HOURS PER DAY:

START AND END TIMES

2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ One year custodial experience preferred.

+ Ability to interpret standard operating instructions and understand labels.

+ Ability to prioritize work assignments.

+ Ability to take direction from multiple sources.

+ Ability to communicate with faculty and staff.

+ Ability to meet the public & communicate with students.

TESTING REQUIRED: All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval. Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
