Job Summary:
We are seeking a **Support Lead – .NET & Azure Applications** to manage application maintenance, resolve complex customer issues, and ensure operational efficiency. This role combines technical expertise with leadership to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing solutions while driving continuous improvement across teams.
About the role
As a Support Lead, you will handle escalated issues, prioritize maintenance work, and coordinate with stakeholders to maintain service quality. You’ll monitor performance, implement process improvements, and guide teams to meet strategic objectives. This position blends technical problem-solving with leadership to ensure efficient, customer-focused support.
In this role, you will:
• Customer issue resolution: Act as a point of contact for escalated or complex customer inquiries and complaints that frontline staff cannot resolve. Analyse production issue and support the application maintenance
• Development work: Determine and prioritize maintenance work, which includes bug fixes, enahncement performance improvements, and security updates
• Performance monitoring: Track team performance, analyze metrics, and implement solutions to improve service levels, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
• Process improvement: Identify areas for improvement, implement new processes, and create training materials to enhance support services.
• Coordination and communication: Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth information flow and coordinate efforts to meet strategic objectives.
• Operational management: Manage work queues, and ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Alpharetta, GA or Louisville, KY.

What you need to have to be considered:
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET framework.
• Proven hands-on experience in building WebAPI
• Proficiency in SQL Server databases.
• Strong Hands-on working exp with Azure cloud services.
These will help you stand out:
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until November 23 rd , 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $105,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
