Be the Force Behind Safe, Reliable Operations
At Verdant Specialty Solutions, we’re not just producing specialty chemicals — we’re building a culture of reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. As we grow and invest in our U.S. operations, we’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to help keep our Liberty, TX facility running smoothly.
This is more than maintenance — it’s about being part of a team that takes pride in keeping people safe, equipment efficient, and operations moving forward.
Why this role stands out:
At Verdant, maintenance is mission-critical. You’ll work hands-on with skilled craftspeople and engineers to ensure our mechanical systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely and efficiently. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, lead by example, and contribute to a site culture built on teamwork, accountability, and respect.
Here, your expertise keeps production running — and your attention to detail keeps people safe.
What you will do:
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment, machinery, and systems
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment by observing operations, identifying root causes, and performing necessary adjustments or part replacements
+ Dismantle and reassemble pumps, agitators, valves, and other equipment using hand and power tools
+ Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports in support of the site’s Mechanical Integrity program
+ Safely operate tools, mobile equipment, scaffolds, and lifts to perform installations and repairs
+ Maintain parts inventory and request supplies as needed
+ Support other departments and crafts to ensure efficient task completion
+ Perform demolition work on decommissioned equipment as assigned
+ Comply with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), permits, PPE requirements and support of ACC RCMS standard requirements
+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following ISO-9001:2015 standards and Verdant’s quality management procedures
+ Participate in site safety meetings and actively promote a culture of safety awareness
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
+ High school diploma or GED required; additional trade or technical training preferred
+ 3+ years of experience in a multi-craft maintenance role (mechanical, millwright, welding, or simple electrical)
+ Ability to install and align pumps, connect basic 3-phase equipment, and perform piping and valve installation
+ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to determine materials and tools needed for each task
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive, safety-first mindset
+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
+ Must be able to work outdoors and in varying conditions for extended periods (up to 70% of the workday)
Benefits
Why you’ll love it here:
+ Competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401(k), and generous PTO)
+ A company culture built on safety, collaboration, and respect
+ Opportunities to learn, grow, and build your career in a stable, expanding specialty chemicals business
