Database Marketing Manager

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As the Database Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for increasing casino patronage and profitability though the execution of direct marketing campaigns using statistical database information. You will ensure all guest facing direct marketing communications are implemented and following approved timelines. The Database Marketing Manager is also responsible for the proper system configuration of all Direct Marketing Campaigns and Promotions. You will report to the Director of Marketing Systems.
Primary Tasks:
1. Implement direct marketing and email campaigns including determining criteria, generating lists of target and qualified patrons, and managing offer setup in the system and the marketing mail and email process.
2. Create complex Structured Query Language codes for new/revised campaigns and lists relevant to programming. Support Database Analysts in the development/modification of their Structured Query Language codes.
3. Complete tests in the test lab and troubleshoot during property installation to assist with system upgrades and new product installations.
4. Train Database Marketing Coordinators on offer setup in the database, verify setup was completed, and trouble shoot system setup issues before escalating the issues to IT.
5. Analyze and maintain records on campaign performance including program costs (offer and communication expense), response rates and reinvestment rates and makes recommendations intended to improve overall performance and profitability.
6. Collaborate with casino site marketing teams to ensure accuracy, feasibility and execution of promotions and offers.
7. Investigate and resolve customer, associate, and management concerns related to offers, guest club level coding, guest or employee behavior and promotions.
8. Coordinate with gaming commission to ensure that company player tracking databases have been updated to identify banned and no trespass patrons.
9. Develop training documents related to all marketing systems and programs, create presentations, and conduct field training on all relevant Marketing Technology systems.
10. Coordinate with property marketing leadership and Joingo to bring additional customer value to the app.
11. Manage process around all direct marketing communications.
12. Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in marketing, accounting, finance, business administration and five (5) years of experience managing direct marketing programs and database analysis, OR nine [9] years of directly related experience in lieu of education.
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills including, higher level functions in EXCEL such as Pivot Tables, Sumifs, Nested formulas, V/H lookups, Macros, and Graphing.
* Experience with computer report writing and database inquiry software such as ACCESS, Structured Query Language Codes, or equivalent
* Ability to interpret statistical reports
* Ability to maintain organized and have integrity when handling confidential information.
