    Weinberger Disposal, a Waste Connections company, is now looking for a reliable **_Evening Shift Diesel Technician_** to work on our Heavy Diesel Equipment.

     

    _Competitive Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour based on experience_

     

    _Shift: M-F 2:30PM - 11:00PM_

     

    Experience changing oil/filters or other preventative auto/diesel required.

     

    The job is full time in a shop, permanent, and local with no traveling required

    + Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair ofelectrical,hydraulic, suspension, brake andair systemson diesel vehicles.

    + Utilize vehicle computerelectricalsystems to interpretfailure modesto identify and adjust Engine and Vehicle Control modules

    + Respond to road calls foremergency repairs

    + Reviewing, Completing or assigning repairs identified on driverVehicle InspectionReports.

    + Completing required paperwork utilizingfleet maintenancesoftware programs.

    + Test driving trucks after services and repairs

    + Helping other team members with repairs as needed

    + Having professional and courteous interactions with our drivers when needed.

    + Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.

    + Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

    What we need from you:

    + Proficiency in a variety of diesel vehicle diagnostic tools,preventative maintenanceand repair.

    + Oil changing

    + Basic tool set

    + Hydraulicexperience is a plus
