Position Description :
The Product Marketing Specialist is the bridge between our product and the market, crafting strategies that resonate with our audience and drive measurable success. This position thrives on market research, competitive analysis, and creating messaging that cuts through the noise.
The Product Marketing Specialist works closely with Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Product Management teams to ensure our solutions are positioned to win in a competitive global market.
This role reports to the Manager, Marketing and offers a unique opportunity to shape how we bring our product to market.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Market Research & Strategy: Dive deep into customer needs, preferences, and market trends to craft go-to-market strategies and develop strategic buyer personas that guide everything we do.
+ Positioning & Messaging: Develop product positioning and messaging that highlight our unique value and resonate with target audiences, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand's voice and vision.
+ Content Creation: Create high-impact marketing collateral, including product presentations, whitepapers, case studies, and sales enablement tools that showcase product features and their value proposition in a way that's impossible to ignore.
+ Product Launches & Campaigns: Plan and execute product launches and promotional campaigns that drive awareness, adoption, and excitement.
+ Digital Marketing : Identifies target audiences and devises digital campaigns that engage, inform, motivate and attract client/prospect interest. Grows new leads, including marketing qualified leads, with marketing automation and lead nurturing processes that converts site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages and lead generation content.
+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Product team to align marketing activities with the product development roadmap, ensuring a seamless connection between what we build and how we promote it.
+ Performance Analysis: Monitor product performance, market dynamics, and competitor activities to uncover opportunities, refine strategies, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
+ Product Education & Messaging: Serve as the critical conduit between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, ensuring communication alignment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment or can operate remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. As a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, employee must be technically savvy with the ability to use the computer/keyboard to conduct business.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time, exempt position with days of work Monday through Friday and with hours scheduled around core hours of operation. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
TRAVEL
Little (10%) travel is expected for this position. If this position is remote and outside the St. Louis area, travel is anticipated 2-4 times per year to stay in touch with direct reports and the management team.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
+ Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business or related area.
+ Minimum 3-5 years' experience in driving a global marketing initiative that consistently delivered measured results.
+ Understanding of inbound marketing, buyer's journey and content development.
+ Is highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising marketing and digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
+ Ability to grasp technology-based business process flows within the Finance & Administration space and maintain an understanding of the marketplace including competitors.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
+ Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), technology, software and/or accounting fields preferred.
+ Familiarity with web design and HTML.
