As part of the Exos Education team, you’ll play a key role in supporting our global learner community by helping students get quick, clear, and friendly answers to their questions.
We’re looking for a part-time Customer Service Coordinator to join the Exos Education team. Your main responsibility will be to manage the customer support inbox in Zendesk , responding to inquiries from students about course access, payments, certificates, and continuing education credits.
This role is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, empathetic, and enjoys providing helpful written communication. You’ll follow our brand voice and existing response templates while using sound judgment to personalize replies as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to incoming customer emails in Zendesk with warmth, accuracy, and professionalism.
+ Follow established Exos Education response templates and workflows for:
+ Course access issues (login, enrollment visibility)
+ Payment questions (plans, receipts, errors)
+ Certificate reissues or name corrections
+ CEU information requests (ACSM, NASM, NSCA, etc.) General inquiries about Exos courses and mentorships
+ Escalate complex or technical cases to the Director of Education or platform support team.
+ Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented tone consistent with Exos brand standards.
+ Track recurring customer issues and flag them for process improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
+ Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
+ Friendly, patient, and empathetic in tone.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
+ Comfortable using Zendesk (or similar help desk platforms).
+ Familiar with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).
+ Interest in health, fitness, or education a plus.
Qualifications:
+ 1–3 years of customer service or administrative experience.
+ Experience with Zendesk or another ticketing system required.
+ Strong command of written English (additional languages a plus).
+ Available 20-25 hours per week, flexible schedule.
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $18 - $19/hour. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
