The Bloomberg Enterprise Regulatory and Accounting Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented financial markets professional to join our dynamic team. We are responsible for identifying, designing, and delivering Regulatory, Accounting, and Tax solutions built on Bloomberg’s proprietary analytics and industry-leading data.
We develop innovative and comprehensive regulatory solutions that help institutions meet complex reporting obligations, streamline oversight, and enhance transparency. Leveraging Bloomberg’s deep market expertise, robust data infrastructure, and flexible delivery technologies, we empower clients to navigate an ever-evolving regulatory landscape with confidence and precision.
As the Product Analyst on the team, we’ll trust you to:
- Conduct in-depth research and interpretation of global shareholding disclosure regimes, including substantial shareholding, beneficial ownership, takeover, and sensitive industry rules.
- Maintain up-to-date global shareholding disclosure rules across key jurisdictions, such as: US SEC Schedule D/G, EU Transparency Directive, FCA DTR 5, AMF, BaFIN etc.
- Analyze and compare jurisdictional variations in thresholds, aggregation rules, and calculation methodology e.g. Numerator, denominator calculation.
- Keep abreast of the latest global shareholding disclosure developments - tracking rule amendments.
You’ll need to have:
- 3+ years experience in legal research, compliance or monitoring reporting platform, or financial regulation — ideally within a shareholding disclosure, beneficial ownership reporting
- Strong understanding of global shareholding disclosure frameworks, including voting rights aggregation, control definitions, and threshold triggers
- Proven ability to interpret and summarize global shareholding disclosure regulations, track rule changes, and assess operational impacts.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational ability to prioritize and manage research across multiple shareholding disclosure jurisdictions.
We’d love to see:
- Background in legal, reporting platform or global shareholding disclosure research environments, particularly platforms supporting disclosure or regulatory monitoring.
- Experience comparing and documenting differences between international shareholding disclosure regimes.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for regulatory research, precision, and continuous improvement in global shareholding disclosure rules.

Salary Range = 40 - 75 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
