Position Overview
We are seeking a Service Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of our fire apparatus repair facility. This role manages repair orders, scheduling, warranty administration, and customer communication while ensuring efficient shop productivity and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
+ Process and track repair orders using Service Manager software
+ Schedule apparatus repairs and maintain consistent communication with customers
+ Monitor shop productivity and coordinate daily operations with the team
+ Administer Pierce warranty claims and track parts orders with the warehouse
+ Prepare customer quotes and ensure timely completion of repairs and upgrades
+ Maintain facility standards and ensure safety and compliance
+ Attend select industry trade shows and company events
Qualifications
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and service management systems
+ Prior experience in service management, automotive/truck repair, or related field preferred
+ Customer-focused mindset and professional demeanor
