Position Summary...
In this Creative Director [Home] role, you’ll define the creative vision and strategy for Walmart’s Home category, driving work that inspires, informs, and engages customers across every touchpoint. You’ll lead advertising campaigns (including online video, paid social, and digital), design home catalogs, oversee 3D/CGI asset art direction, develop experiential activations, and govern all creative for site, store signage, and CRM within the category. This role demands a leader who is experienced, confident, and self-directed—someone energized by working in-office, capable of setting the tone for the team, and skilled at rallying talent to deliver outstanding work. The ideal candidate blends category expertise with a diverse perspective, bringing both visionary thinking and practical execution to elevate the Walmart Home brand.
What you'll do...
Best-in-Class Work
+ Translate creative briefs into strategic, high-impact ideas that strengthen brand KPIs.
+ Manage and contribute to full-funnel campaigns across all channels (TV, OLV, OOH, experiential, paid media, social, site, store, CRM).
+ Lead ideation, concept development, and campaign storytelling—crafting compelling brand worlds that feel modern and relevant.
+ Direct production for home-focused assets: oversee casting, set design, styling, shot lists, CGI/3D renderings, editing, sound, and delivery.
+ Push the boundaries of home & interiors design by leveraging 3D/CGI capabilities for immersive brand and product storytelling.
+ Stay ahead of home and lifestyle trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscapes to inform creative strategy.
Brand Consistency
+ Drive alignment between verbal and visual identities to strengthen brand attribution and recall.
+ Ensure all creative executions are consistent across the funnel and cohesive with broader enterprise initiatives.
Team Development
+ Lead with confidence and clarity, inspiring your team to operate at the highest level.
+ Mentor and grow talent with respect and accountability, fostering a culture of innovation and craft excellence.
+ Attract and recruit diverse creative talent to broaden perspectives within the team.
Efficiency
+ Champion better, faster, smarter ways of working.
+ Ensure work is on-brief, strategic, creative, and polished while minimizing revisions and keeping timelines on track.
+ Partner with operations and production teams to deliver breakthrough creative on schedule and within budget.
Client/Stakeholder Satisfaction
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to sustain and grow the business.
Qualifications
+ Proven experience as a Creative Director (or equivalent senior creative role) within home, interiors, lifestyle, or retail categories.
+ Strong portfolio showcasing integrated 360-degree campaigns, including home/interiors-focused assets and 3D/CGI art direction.
+ Exceptional leadership skills: confident, collaborative, autonomous, and respected as both a people leader and creative visionary.
+ Deep understanding of brand building, consumer insights, and creative strategy.
+ Proficiency in key creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, Figma, Microsoft Office, Slack).
+ Minimum 10 years in creative roles, with both agency and in-house experience strongly preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Communications, Creative Writing, or related field.

+ Reports to Group Creative Director, Head of Style
+ Manages Associate Creative Director, Senior Art Director, Art Director, Senior Copy Lead, Senior Design Lead, Designers and Senior Designers, Writers and Senior Writers
+ In-office 5 days per week

The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00 - $264,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
