    **Payrate:** $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

    **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)

    A leading precision mold design and manufacturing company in Covina, CA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Administrative Assistant** to support our HR and Payroll department. This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity is perfect for someone who enjoys clerical tasks, employee support, and keeping daily office and HR operations running smoothly.

     

    What You’ll Do

    Front Desk & Office Support (Primary Focus)

    + Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, vendors, and employees entering the building.

    + Greet and check in guests professionally, ensuring proper sign-in and notifying the appropriate staff.

    + Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.

    + Manage front desk operations, maintain lobby appearance, and support general office tasks.

    + Provide daily administrative support to the HR team, including filing, data entry, scanning, scheduling, and document organization.

    + Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files while protecting confidentiality.

    + Assist with preparing HR documents, letters, forms, and reports.

    + Support onboarding and offboarding by preparing new hire packets, collecting paperwork, and assisting with orientations.

    + Respond to employee questions regarding HR forms, policies, and general inquiries.

    + Support bi-weekly payroll processing for approximately 65 California employees.
